Sabahat Qamar Zaman generally known as Saba Qamar is a Pakistani actress and television personality. She is one of the most popular & highest-paid actresses of Pakistan. Saba Qamar is also the recipient of several awards, including the Lux Style Award, Hum Award, and a Filmfare Award nomination. She was born in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Her date of birth is 05 April 1984. Her current age is 35 years. Her current residence is in Lahore.
Saba Qamar is born in Hyderabad on 05 April 1984. She belongs to a Sindhi family. Her father died when she was so young & she spent her childhood with her grandmother in Gujranwala. Her family settled in Karachi.

She got her early education in Gujranwala then moved to Lahore to pursue further studies. She spent her early life in Gujranwala. Her father died in her early childhood. Qamar made her debut in the PTV Home TV series Mein Aurat Hoon. The series was shot in Lahore.
In 2007, Qamar appeared in ATV’s Khuda Gawah which was the remake of 1992 Indian film of the same and Jinnah Ke Naam. She has played the role of Fatima Jinnah and the series was a tribute to the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The series received negative reviews & failed commercially but Qamar received a nomination for Best TV Actress at the Lux Style Awards.
In 2010, she appeared in a supporting role of Surrayya in Hum TV’s pre-partition television series Dastaan, an adaptation of Razia Butt’s novel Bano. She was opposite Ahsan Khan, Sanam Baloch and Fawad Khan. Series proved to be break-through for her and she won the Best TV Actress trophy at the Pakistan Media Awards. She also won the PTV Awards for Best TV Actress in both public and jury choice categories at the 16th Annual PTV Awards, held on 23 July 2011 for her role in Tinkay. For the performance, she also got the nomination for Best Television Actress at Lux Style Awards.
She then appeared in Sarmad Khoosat’s Pani Jaisa Piyar where she played the character of Sana who has been engaged to Adarsh, the son of her mother’s best friend ever she was a child. Adarsh, however, has been unaware of this engagement, as his parents thought that he needed to focus more on his education than wedding plans. It was followed by a role in PTV’s Tera Pyar Nahi Bhosle. She was paired opposite Ahsan Khan in both the series. Both of which garnered her Lux Style Award nominations for Best Television Actress.
The following year, Saba collaborated with Sami Khan in Geo TV’s three projects Jo Chale To Jaan Se Guzar Gaye, Tere Ik Nazar, and Main Chand Si. She also appeared in Ameen Iqbal’s Thakan where she played the role of Sadaf who works extremely hard like a machine day and night to run her family but no one except her grandfather feels sympathy for her or even cares about her.
Qamar appeared in three series in 2015. She first reunited with Muhammad Younis Butt and Fawad Wyne in the comedy series S. H. E where she played the role of lady S. H. O Bajirao Mastani. She then starred alongside Adeel Chaudhry in Fahim Burney’s directional Kaisay Tum Se Kahoon which tells the story of star-crossed lovers who are reincarnated. It’s her third consecutive appearance in Momina Duraid’s production. Series did not do well in terms of ratings but her performance was praised by some critics. The following year, Qamar collaborated with Mikaal Zulfiqar for the third time in Kashif Nisar’s Sangat where she played the role of Aisha, a rape survivor who faced difficulties when her husband came to know that he was not the biological father of a daughter they have. The series earned her the nomination for Best Actress in both Jury and Popular categories at Hum Awards.
She made her debut in film Aina opposite Faryal Qureshi for which she was nominated for Best Actress at Tarang Housefull Awards. The film was made on a big budget and performed poorly at the box office with a lifetime collection of Rs 5.05 crores. She was also nominated for ARY Films Awards for Best Supporting Actress.
She made her debut in Hindi film Industry, in Saket Chaudhary ‘s film Hindi Medium, opposite Irfan Khan. The film became a sleeper hit in India and China with a collection of 334.36 crores. Her performance in the film was praised by critics.
In 2018, Qamar appeared in three-shot films. She first paired with Ahsan Khan in Siraj-ul-Haque directorial Moomal Rano. It was critically praised and was nominated for the Best film at the 2018 European festival.
